Freight Policies
How soon can I get my order and how much will it cost?
In most cases orders can be fulfilled within 3 business days. If your order is urgent and required by a specific date please contact us directly.
Express Post - $19.50: 1 - 3 business days from date of dispatch, not the date order is placed.
Regular Post - $14.95: 5 - 10 business days from date of dispatch, not the date order is placed.
These can take longer in remote areas.
We will do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible. The time it takes for us to dispatch your order depends on how many of your items may need to be transferred to us from stores in other states to fill your order, because of this time delays can occur. This does not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization or direct deposit payments and your order will only be shipped once payment has been approved.
What packaging will my order will be shipped in?
Your order will be delivered to you in either a StarTrack plastic satchel or an Australia Regular post satchel. We try to wrap all goods in plastic protection. Sorry but we are unable to gift wrap your purchases. We don’t store Christmas or gift paper.
Is my package insured?
Regular Post orders are not insured.
Express courier is insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from Tall Guy to the shipping address (prior to a signature being received). Once your items have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance.
Authority to Leave requests are not insured. Once the goods leave Tall Guy with an 'ATL' they are the responsibility of the customer. If your package is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you either refuse the delivery, or make a note when signing for it that you are accepting a damaged parcel.
Overseas orders sent via Australia Post are not insured unless arrangements have been made before hand with our mail order staff to pay the additional insurance costs.
Do I need to sign for my order?
Authority to Leave - You will not need to sign for your order. If you are not home the goods will be left at your door step, or in a nominated safe place. Our couriers reserve the right to hold parcels if they deem the safe place as unsafe. If this occurs, you will be given instruction by the courier.
If you have not requested or accepted an 'ATL' and you are not home when the delivery person arrives then you be left a card, the goods will be taken to the nearest post office and stored.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?
We are unable to redirect orders once your items have been dispatched. Please ensure you provide a suitable delivery address when placing your order.
Does Tall GUY ship to post office boxes or freight forwarding addresses?
We do not deliver to forwarding addresses. We can post to a PO Box, but this may take longer if your looking for air freight of your order. Please note that we are unable to deliver to post office boxes outside Australia, apart from in the following countries: Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Can I add items to an existing order?
If we have not dispatched the order, it is possible to add additional items. This may slow down your order however, as we may need to transfer the additional items. Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an order once it has been posted (obviously!). If you would like all your items to be delivered together then you will have to tell us almost immediately.
How will I know you received my order & when will payment be deducted?
After you place your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received. This email doesn’t confirm all the items are available. The initial confirmation is an automated email. There will be follow up at various stages of the picking/packing stages. Your card will be debited at time of order. In the rare instance that any of the items you have ordered are not available, we will contact you by email and will offer you the option of removing the item from your order (with a refund to your card) or exchanging for a different item.
Can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, your consignment number will be automatically sent to the email address you have provided. New Zealand orders over 2kg cannot be tracked.
Where is my order?
We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days of receiving it. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch, not the date the order is placed. Tall Guy is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes or breakdowns, strikes etc by third parties.
